The Korean Society for Veterinary Science (KSVS) was established to improve the veterinary science by communication of knowledge and research on the field in 1957. Now, the society has 1,200 individual members and 120 collective members and has published two journals, Korean and international journals.

Projects that the society is carrying out are to i) hold international symposium and annual meeting, ii) publish two journals and academic books, iii) mutual exchange of our knowledge on veterinary science and related field and iv) award to members(s) who has a distinguishable achievement in our field.

Our staffs are consisted of 66 members; President, President-elected, Vice Presidents, Secretaries (General, Planning, Fiance and Academic affairs), Editor-in-Chiefs and board members. Usually, they plane the our projects to be performed and make important decision(s) related to our society and field.

We are publishing two official journals, Korean and English version, and proceedings on international symposium and annual meeting. Our Korean journal is already published over 100 issues, but the English version, international journal, was just started in June, 2000 by publication of the first issue.
